We are proud to announce the opening of our new, purpose built dance
school - THE STUDIO


The Studio is situated at a prime location in the heart of Bishop Auckland, just off its historic market place. It has taken some four months to renovate the premises; one time used as a bar and nightclub, and offers dancers of all ages and levels a new, comfortable, air-conditioned studio in which to dance.
The Studio also boasts one of the largest, sprung, dances floors in the area at just over 85 meters²

The Sandra Welsh School of Dance has operated, probably, longer than any other school in the area and is proud to have had the opportunity to take young dancers to perform in not only several European countries and Local Theatres but also in London's West End. We are already planning the next performance at Her Majesty's Theatre-London.
Some of the School's dancers have also gone onto dance professionally, not only on stage but other venues such as cruise ships.
